Three decades of earth station work, one team.
Founded in 1987, New Technology Applications (India) has grown from tech-support for imported satellite equipment into a full turnkey installer — handling everything from site survey to antenna performance optimisation, wherever the job takes us.
From tech-support to turnkey installer
NTA is a leading provider of satellite earth station installation services. Headquartered in Bangalore, India, the company has served customers globally for over 30 years.
Founded in 1987, NTA's initial focus was marketing and tech-support for high-technology products from foreign manufacturers, serving India's telecommunications, defence, and aerospace markets. That early work put NTA at the centre of India's major satellite communications programmes, in both government and private sectors.
As a logical progression, NTA expanded into end-to-end solutions in the satellite communication space — taking up turnkey Earth Station installations anywhere on the globe. Clients have included Airtel, Tatanet, HCIL, HCL Comnet, Bharat Electronics, Vertex, Viasat, Integral Systems UK, and GSI.
Today, NTA is one of the leading system integrators in the satellite communication field, offering the entire range of services — from site survey (including RFI) through to antenna performance optimisation conforming to international specifications. NTA is capable of foundation construction and alignment even in the most difficult terrain, integrating equipment from multiple vendors: Vertex, Viasat, Andrew, Comtech EF Data, Miteq, ETI, CPI, MCL, and others.
What clients keep coming back for.
Personally supervised, top to bottom
NTA's team of highly experienced personnel is personally supervised by Aloknath Chattopadhyay, an acknowledged industry expert.
Saturday call, Thursday on-site
NTA heard about a job in São Tomé and Príncipe on a Saturday. The team was on location the following Thursday.
The terrain changes, the standard doesn't
Installations completed in Yemen, Baghdad just after the war, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, Burundi, Timor, Romania at -15°C, and Port Blair during the tsunami. Engineers spent six months in Cheia, Romania, working under mounds of snow.
We move antennas too
A 9.2M RSI antenna moved from Arvi to Colombo. A 9M NEC antenna moved off the 14th floor of Tidel Park, Chennai. A hybrid Viasat/Vertex antenna relocated across Lisbon.
